What are Mooncakes?

Mooncakes are Chinese pastries traditionally enjoyed as a way to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival which occurs on the 15th day of the 8th Lunar Month. This is usually between mid-September to early October. This day is also called “The Night of the Moon”. The roundness of the pastry symbolizes the moon, but also family unity and togetherness.

These treats are meant to be enjoyed with your loved ones and a cup of tea in hand.

How should I eat them?

Mooncakes are best enjoyed at room temperature!

I love eating mooncakes paired with a nice cup of tea or a glass of non-dairy milk!

You can store mooncakes at room temperature for up to 1-2 days, refrigerated for up to 1 week, and in the freezer for up to 3 months.

However stored, thaw or bring to room temperature on counter—do not defrost in microwave (they’ll get soggy!)

When do I store them?

All of our Mooncakes are 100% Vegan.

Please refer to individual listings for specific allergen and ingredient information (Nut, Gluten, Soy).

Please note regardless of allergens, ALL mooncakes are made on shared equipment.
